Luckenbach, Texas will host its annual Texas Independence Celebration on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with festivities kicking off at noon. The event is open to the public and there is no cover charge.
The celebration will include a Texas Ranger Living Camp, a flag retirement ceremony, and live music throughout the day. Musical performances are scheduled from Doug Moreland and the Georgia Parker Swing Band.
Organizers say the event will also serve as a military and first responders appreciation, honoring those who serve their communities and the state.
Luckenbach’s Texas Independence Celebration commemorates Texas history and culture while offering visitors a family-friendly day of music, history, and community gathering in one of the state’s most iconic small towns.
