The Paseo de la Resaca Regatta splashes back this Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Brownsville Events Center. Entry is free, and kayaks will be provided by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Participants can race to the finish in their age group, compete for the “Most Creative Kayak” award, or take home the “Team Spirit” prize for the best costumes and energy. Life jackets are required and supplied, with on-water safety patrols ensuring a fun and secure event.
