A new, expansive project is set to reshape Driftwood’s landscape, with the construction of a multi-faceted retail and dining venue located at 14999 FM 150. The new Driftwood Store, set to be completed by October 15, 2026, is expected to cost $8.5 million and will enhance the area with a variety of features.
The project includes the construction of a 1,550-square-foot bar building, an 850-square-foot staff and storage building, and a 4,400-square-foot restaurant addition to an existing 1,850-square-foot building. The renovation and expansion will also include new parking areas and entry driveways to accommodate visitors to the space.
The project is privately funded and will be built on private land, marking an exciting development for Driftwood, located in Hays County, just outside of Austin. The new venue promises to provide a destination for dining, entertainment, and relaxation for residents and visitors alike.
