Indian Lodge has reopened at Davis Mountains State Park, and new photos shared by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department give a first look at the scenic retreat’s return.

The historic lodge is now accepting guests, but a scheduled water system upgrade in mid-May means room availability will remain limited until June 1. Full reopening is expected on that date, and reservations for summer stays are available now at tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/reservations.
In the meantime, the lodge’s front office gift shop is open, and the Black Bear Restaurant is serving buffet-style breakfast and lunch Thursday through Monday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a short closure between meals from 10 to 11 a.m. Weekly menus are posted to the Indian Lodge Facebook page.
