Popular burger chain Shake Shack is headed to Williamson County, with a new location set to open along West University Avenue in Georgetown. The fast-casual restaurant will be located at 1320 W University Ave, with construction scheduled to begin on March 2, 2026, and wrap up by June 29, 2026.
The $980,000 project covers 3,000 square feet of interior work, including kitchen installation, new partitions, finishes, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems. Exterior elements like the drive-thru, patio, and landscaping will be completed under a separate permit by the property owner.
Shake Shack continues to expand its Texas footprint, and the Georgetown site will bring the brand’s signature burgers, crinkle-cut fries, and shakes to a fast-growing corridor just off I-35.
