State Representative Brooks Landgraf and Senator Kevin Sparks welcomed six incoming members of the Texas House of Representatives to Odessa for the 2025 Permian Basin Oil & Gas Legislative Summit. Held at the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, the event provided the delegation with firsthand insights into the oil and gas industry, the region’s contributions to Texas’ economy, and the West Texas way of life.
Highlighting the Permian Basin’s Impact
“For years, I’ve taken pride in bringing my fellow lawmakers from across Texas to the Permian Basin,” Landgraf said. “It’s important they see our successes and challenges firsthand. This delegation learned a great deal about the oil and gas industry, the jobs it creates, and the revenue it generates for our state.”
