The McLennan Steinway Series is set to captivate audiences with Rhapsodie Espagnole: A Musical Journey to Spain, an evening of vibrant compositions inspired by the rich musical traditions of Spain. The performance will feature pianists Dr. James Pitts and Dr. Ping-Ting Lan, showcasing a dynamic program on the McLennan Community College (MCC) campus.
The event promises a diverse repertoire, featuring works by Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Georges Bizet, Ferruccio Busoni, and Leopold Godowsky. Audiences can expect a vivid celebration of Spanish-inspired music, blending intricate compositions with virtuosic performance.
