India: Strengthening Economic and Cultural Ties
In January, Governor Abbott met with technology and energy leaders in Mumbai and New Delhi, discussing opportunities for Indian companies to invest in Texas. He also met with India’s External Affairs Minister, highlighting partnerships in semiconductor manufacturing and aerospace technology.
United Kingdom: Advancing Trade and Innovation
During his March visit, Abbott signed a Statement of Mutual Cooperation with UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade Kemi Badenoch. The agreement emphasizes collaboration in sectors like energy innovation, aerospace, and life sciences. Abbott also met with then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and delivered the Ronald Reagan Lecture in London.
Taiwan: Opening Texas’ Taiwan Office
