Sutton County Sheriff’s Office shared the following Facebook post about a reading program their school resource deputy started in Sonora:
“In an effort to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the student body, SRO Deputy Madrid has implemented a reading program at the school. Twice a week, Deputy Madrid dedicates time to reading to students, fostering not only a love for literature but also creating meaningful connections with the youth in our community.”
