The grand opening, which took place just five days ago, featured performances by local musicians Gil Shackelford and Jeb Spacepilot, drawing a supportive crowd from the surrounding areas. “Quite the Day!!! Thanks Alpine for coming out and supporting our efforts to ‘Feed the People’!” the Cow Dog Food Truck team expressed on their Facebook page, capturing the community’s enthusiastic response.

Situated not far from regional attractions such as Big Bend National Park, the ghost town of Terlingua, the artistic hub of Marfa, and the scenic Davis Mountains, Viva Cow Dog & Café is poised to become a must-visit destination for travelers exploring West Texas. Viva Cow Dog & Café serves a distinctive breakfast menu from Wednesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The offerings include the Brisket Biscuit, made with house-made buttermilk biscuits, smoked brisket from The Dogg House, peppered red-eye gravy, and a fried egg. For those seeking a lighter start, the café offers Avocado Toast topped with a fried egg.

Post-breakfast, the Cow Dog Food Truck continues to serve its beloved hot dogs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, the café teased the future introduction of Dogg House BBQ, promising more savory options to its patrons.
