Tall City Brewing Invitational Returns for Third Year, Showcasing Over 100 Craft Beers in Midland

The Tall City Brewing Invitational is making its highly anticipated return on September 7th, marking the third year of this popular craft beer celebration in Midland. The event will run from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with early access for VIP ticket holders starting at 2:00 p.m.

This year’s invitational promises to be bigger and better, featuring over 100 beers from more than 20 breweries. Craft beer enthusiasts from across Texas and beyond can explore a diverse selection of brews, with representatives from cities such as Galveston, Houston, and Austin, as well as West Texas breweries like Brickvault, Old Sheepdog, and Deadbeach. The event also includes a few out-of-state participants from Colorado, expanding the range of unique offerings.

In addition to the impressive beer selection, the invitational will offer wine from Château Wright Winery in Fort Davis and cider from Hye Cider, catering to those who prefer alternatives to beer.

Themed “The Great Marathon,” this year’s event invites attendees to embark on a craft beer “marathon” (no running involved) that guides them through some of the finest and rarest beers in Texas. Staying true to its West Texas roots, the event will highlight the Chaparral, also known as the Roadrunner, as part of its theme. Interestingly, a group of roadrunners is called a “Marathon.”

Beyond the beer, the event will feature live music, vendors, and food trucks, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all attendees. The Tall City Brewing Invitational is open to those 21 and older.

Tickets for the event are available online at Tall City Brewing’s event page.
