Smokey Mo’s TX BBQ, a well-loved family-friendly barbecue chain in Central Texas, is set to continue its expansion with two new locations. The chain has executed leases for new restaurants in Temple and Harker Heights, with the Temple location scheduled to open in the fall of 2024 at 6768 West Adams Avenue and the Harker Heights location set to open later in 2024 at 529 Knight’s Way.
Craig Haley, president of Smokey Mo’s BBQ, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming openings. “We are excited to introduce Smokey Mo’s, the best neighborhood BBQ in Texas, to our new neighbors in Temple and Harker Heights,” Haley said. “Our team at Smokey Mo’s BBQ has a passion for community, and we are looking forward to meeting our neighbors and bringing our classic BBQ served fast and friendly to Temple and Harker Heights.”
This expansion follows the recent opening of the chain’s 19th location in Hutto, Texas, last month. Smokey Mo’s TX BBQ plans to continue its growth with another new restaurant in San Antonio, located at 6010 UTSA Boulevard, which will open this summer. The San Antonio location will be the second store operated by franchise partners, the Salvidar Brothers. The brand aims to reach a total of 22 locations by the end of 2024.
