Baylor Law Tops National Rankings for Practical Training

Baylor Law School has been recognized as the leading institution for practical legal training in the United States, according to a recent ranking by preLaw Magazine.

The publication highlighted Baylor’s consistent performance in preparing students for legal practice, noting its extensive offerings and commitment to developing practice-ready lawyers. “Baylor University School of Law has consistently been a standout in this area in recent years,” the magazine reported. “With its wide range of offerings and its commitment to preparing practice-ready lawyers. Baylor Law School tops the list this year.”

This accolade comes on the heels of Baylor’s trial advocacy program receiving a No. 3 national ranking earlier this year by U.S. News. Additionally, Baylor law students have excelled in bar exam results, leading the state in passage rates 28 times out of the last 50 administrations of the test since 2001, a record unmatched by any other school in Texas.

Baylor Law prides itself on a robust practical training curriculum that includes externships, clinics, and the notable Practice Court program, all designed to enhance students’ advocacy skills, critical thinking, and ethical judgment.
