In an exciting development for the Harker Heights community, the Harker Heights Parks & Recreation department has officially unveiled its plans for the renovation of the beloved Carl Levin Park Playground. The project is set to commence on Monday, September 11th, promising a revitalized and improved play area for local residents.
As part of the renovation process, the existing play equipment and surfacing will be removed, marking the first phase of the project, which begins on September 11th. Following this initial stage, the construction of the new playground will begin on Monday, September 25th, with an estimated completion time of 2-3 weeks.
The temporary closure of the playground during the renovation may pose some inconvenience to park-goers, but the Harker Heights Parks & Recreation department assures the community that the upgrades will be well worth the wait.
