Renowned restaurateurs Sammy and Kyle Citrano, along with their business partners, are set to unveil their latest culinary venture, Jorge’s Cantina, on Franklin Avenue. This new establishment will showcase a diverse menu featuring Mexican cuisine, seafood delicacies, chicken-fried steak, margaritas, and George’s renowned Big O goblets of beer.
With a projected start date of September 15, 2023, and an estimated completion date of March 15, 2025, Jorge’s Cantina will undergo extensive renovations and new additions within its existing 11,712 square feet space. The privately funded project, with an estimated cost of $2.5 million, will also include minor modifications to the parking area.
The owner of the establishment, C & C Restaurant Group, is based at 448 Stone Manor Dr, McGregor, Texas 76657. Chris Cady, a key member involved in day-to-day operations at the original George’s restaurant, is the designated contact person for the owner.
As Waco eagerly awaits the grand opening of Jorge’s Cantina, locals and visitors alike can anticipate a vibrant and inviting dining experience that blends Mexican flavors with the cherished traditions established by George’s restaurants.
